Horta House (1898-1911) Single Bookend.
Victor Horta designed and started building this house for himself in 1898. It is located at 25 rue Americanne in Brussels, Belgium, and since 1969 has been the permanent home of the Victor Horta museum. Horta was one of the most brilliant protagonists of Art Nouveau, and both the interior and exterior of the house have great examples of this style.
The model is made in plaster with detail in etched brass.
