Ashbourne is inspired by blue and gold patterns from the early Derby pattern books. The full in-glaze blue border has been highly fired to produce a deep rich colouring that changes with different lighting. The simplicity of the plain blue and gold patterned borders is a classic look, which will suit simple, contemporary settings as well as the more traditional. The pattern mixes easily with gold and white as well as more decorative florals.
