Gifts Are Us at Harvey Weston is an online shop and we are online shopkeepers with years of product knowledge and experience as retailers. We offer our customers well known quality brand names over the internet. Until recently we had a conventional store at 31, Oakdene Parade in Cobham, Surrey, England KT11 2LR. We found more and more of our customers were shopping with us on the internet . So we decided to completely switch. Our shop door is now open to customers from all over the world rather than just Cobham.

What Is Your Returns Policy?
In the unlikely event of loss or damage to your shipment, Harvey Weston (Gifts) Ltd will supply you a free of charge replacement or a refund, as appropriate. Claims must be made within 7 days of receipt. We may request a photograph or return of goods to substantiate the claim.
You may cancel your order in writing within 7 days of receipt of your goods, for a full refund of the purchase value, provided the goods are returned to us unused, in good condition and in the original packaging. You must despatch the goods to us to the address we specify within 7 days of us having requested that you do so.
In the case of purchases made by credit/debit card, refunds will only be made to the card number on which the original purchase was made.
Goods specially made to your specifications or personalised or imported by us on your behalf are non-returnable.
Shipping charges (which are a separate and additional contract) and customs duties are non-refundable, and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
No items may be returned to Harvey Weston (Gifts) Ltd without our prior agreement.
Should a shipment be returned to Harvey Weston (Gifts) Ltd due to failure of delivery, then, we reserve the right to make a charge for the reshipment of the goods.
How Do You Ship Goods?
Within the UK we ship our goods by "Royal Mail - Special Delivery" or "Standard Parcels", depending on their value and required delivery time. Sometimes we use "Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For". Delivery takes 24 - 48 hours. Should your purchase weigh over 2Kgs then we ship using DHL Express.
Internationally we ship by "Royal Mail - International Signed For" or "Parcel Force - International Standard". Delivery can take up to 10 working days depending on the destination. Should your purchase weigh over 2Kgs then we sometimes ship using DHL Express.
We've tried several delivery services over the years, and we've found these services to be very suitable. They are traceable, quick and reliable and goods have to be signed on receipt. All of theses methods are covered by insurance, although the Postal services call it compensation.
We also have an account with UPS. If you wish us to use UPS then we must charge you for their services. Please ask us for a quote.
What Happens If My Shipment Is Lost / Damaged?

Why are your prices in UK Sterling?
Because we're a British company and our bank accepts payment in UK currency only. This shouldn't be a terrible hardship though. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Maestro, and these companies will convert currencies at the current exchange rate.

Do I Have To Pay Value Added Tax - VAT ?
If we are to be delivering goods within the UK or anywhere within the European Union then yes, By law we have to add 20% VAT. All prices on our website are shown excluding VAT. If you are ordering from overseas, for example USA or Australia and wish for us to deliver the goods to somebody residing in the UK for example, VAT will apply.
Will I have to pay import duty ?
If you live in the UK or European Union then no, but some other countries may impose import duty. Import Duty is unfortunately out of our control.
From experience, US customs, for example, has an import duty of around 6-9% when they charge but quite often you may not be charged at all. For further information we recommend that you contact your local authorities.
